Urban Exploring, aka "UE", is the act of people going to dying abandoned places and giving it one last record before it becomes a Wallmart/Condo/Taco Bell. I dig, I really dig.

Even the site is old and amazing. It was last updated in 2004. There is a line in there about "now the Detroit is recovering from its 40 year decline"... well, *sigh* we all know the state of things today...
